Yes, I went for a blogger meet (The Chennai blogger meet on the 8th organised by Indiblogger). Yes, I had fun. No, I didn't give out too many personal details or my credit card numbers to these people who you're only supposed to know online (my dad was super worried that a fate worse than death will befall me because of the blog). Anyway, it was nice to meet people and know that they have normal names too: Lemonade, Captain Jack Sparrow (it seems), Jolly Roger and Trinity.
I had to give a statement to the news channel and as always I froze in front of the camera and can't remember what I said. Well, they didn't air that but they aired a bit of my presentation of my blog. My misspelled name was included in a newspaper write-up and that was that. Oh and I didn't make any new stalkers! yay.

Chris, aiyo, it's not Sparky or Sharky or anything lame like that! And Sparky's is a restaurant! I'm not naming a character after my favourite restaurant!

A very different kinda review of the event. The cartoon have come up really well.
And you are fan of C & H is it? The shark seems to play the role of Hobbes for you.
Uncanny resembalance to the girl in Ph.d. comics:). In any case bravo!

Emmaenlighted, thank you! :) I didn't think I'd make people actually want to go to a blogger meet!
Lefty84, yes I am a fan of C&H but also of most comics with an animal sidekick. They just add so much! I've been drawing the shark since college so not sure how and why he popped up!
Okie, actually have never heard of the Phd comics but did look it up. I see the resemblance I suppose. Maybe I just have a very phd scholar kind of face :D
