I always thought that when you voted, they stamped your index finger with the black spot. Do people honestly think it's cool to request it on their middle finger instead? These people are basically giving everyone the finger and getting applauded for it. A bit disrespectful of the right to vote, don't you think?

Yes, very cool. I'm a huge fan now.

Hahahahhahahhahahaha... they're all showing their middle finger.. hahahaha
did you read his blog entry about it?
Did you vote, did you vote? Did you, did you?
Dewd, they didn't ask for it to be done. That's the EC's system this year. Middle finger of the left hand. Until the last election it was the index finger, you're right. Plenty of stories about the change in the tabloids.
And lighten up! It's not disrespectful of anything. At least they went and voted. I won't even bother to do that.
Yeah I don't see why they could not have used all their 5 fingers. It's not like the camera catches the black dot anyway!
they requested it? the govt is corrupt to allow it!!
neat pic!!:D:D
Mazhalai, whose blog entry? Abishek's? Amitabh's? I didn't know they had one.
Bluesocks, I shall explain elsewhere.
Perakath, well, that's weird too - changing the finger when the middle finger gesture is common enough! It gives more reason for our youth reason to flaunt it.
:)ps - hahaha, it's funny how you think this is me being uptight about the Bachans.
Jessie, hehe, they're being cool :p
Icychips, I don't know all that. Perakath says that it's the new system. Which, I think, is pointless. As if changing the finger will improve India.

Thanks for the link. Good that he encourages people to vote.
They might call the middle finger gesture western but it's become a norm here as well so it's still a weird finger to use especially when people will show it off in this way.
hahahahaha.. :D
